Enrico Trujillo smiling

Enrico Trujillo is a multidisciplinary artist whose work is rooted in the landscapes, cultures, and identities of northern New Mexico. His paintings often explore the complexities of Hispanic and Pueblo heritage, blending figurative and symbolic forms with a style that leans slightly impressionist. Work wiht expressive, textured, and full of light.

Raised in Taos, Enrico grew up surrounded by adobe walls, sacred mountains, and family stories that stretched across generations. That deep sense of place continues to shape his creative voice. Whether he’s painting portraits, photographing rural life, or sketching digitally on his iPad, his work always carries a sense of reverence for people, for land, for spirit.

But El Trujillo is not just about preserving tradition. It’s about reimagining it. Enrico’s practice bridges the handmade and the high-tech, the old ways and new media. From oil on canvas to interactive digital installations, he explores how memory, identity, and beauty evolve over time.

Above all, his work is a gesture of connection. Usually inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and feel something honest.
